Piece of Cake - support the Willow Foundation PDF Print E-mail
This June the Willow Foundation is asking you to take a break to raise funds for seriously ill 16-40 year olds.

The Piece of Cake campaign (see poster) is exactly what it says on the cake tin - it's a piece of cake - easy to organise, fun to take part in and a simple but very effective way to raise funds for the Willow Foundation.  Simply decide where to hold your tea party then plan a day that suits you and invite your friends and family to join you.  There are many ways to turn a tea party into a successful fundraiser, you could organise a cake sale, guests could each make a small donation for free tea and cake or you might consider organising a raffle or tombola with cakes as prizes or even a cake baking competition!  It's a chance to use your imagination.  More ideas and suggestions as well as some tasty recipes from celebrity chef and Willow ambassador Gary Rhodes are available in the Piece of Cake fundraising pack - available to request by post or download from our website now.

The Willow Foundation is a unique charity that organises and funds very special, morale-boosting and memorable days for seriously ill adults aged 16-40.  The Foundation provides more than 100 special days every month for individuals and their loved ones.  The letters of thanks and photographs received at the Foundation are testament to the uplifting, often empowering effect that special days have on not only the individuals but also their families.

We hope you will support our campaign this summer - every tea break really does count.
