Volunteer for Guides youth event

Girlguiding UK needs adult volunteers (aged 18-30) to assist with the youth event Guides: Y.E.L.L. 2011. This event will run alongside the 2011 World Association of Girl Guides and Girls Scouts (WAGGGS) World Conference from 9 to 16 July in Edinburgh.

Guides: Y.E.L.L. is being organised and delivered by Guides, and volunteers are needed to form an Adult Support Team.

The role

The Adult Support Team will assist a small group of Guides at the event, ensuring that they know where they are meant to be and are having a good time.

Responsibilities will also include tasks such as assisting the Planning Team in running sessions, attending to first aid duties and supervising eating arrangements.

Volunteers will get to experience part of the Guides: Y.E.L.L. conference through accompanying Guides to activities and entertainment.
