While you've all been relaxing and enjoying your summer camps we've been brushing up our tightrope, juggling and acrobatic skills in preparation for this year's extravaganza. With just over five weeks to go until the fun begins, please confirm interest as early as you can so we can guarantee fun and food for everyone, we can firm up numbers when term starts. M*E*S*H 2010 (Mixin*Explorer*Scout*Holiday)
What: Annual camp run by Chislehurst District (& friends) to give you hard working leaders a well earned break after the long summer months. Full programme of onsite activities including circus skills, live music, voltini electrical extravaganza, silent disco, freak show, wide games and much much more!
Theme: This year we're off to the circus with all the flamboyancy, flair and frolics you'd expect to go with it. As ever there will be a fancy dress competition on Saturday night with prizes for the best dressed leader and Explorer/Guide - there's everything to lose, so whether you're a strong man, clown, lion tamer, contortionist or dancing horse get planning those costumes!
Who: Open to all members of Explorers and Senior Section Guides aged 14-18. Networkers, rangers, leaders and fellowship not attached to groups are more than welcome to come along and join in the fun on one of the organisation teams.
When: 24-26 September 2010
Cost: £30 Explorers, £20 Leaders/Network (price includes all activities, entertainment and BBQ on Saturday evening. Does not include transport or food for the remainder of the weekend)
