Ten Tors Training in Full Swing PDF Print E-mail

Last week-end, the Yeovale 10 Tors Walking Team stretched their legs on Dartmoor for the first time in the next stage of their training towards the 10 Tors event in May. After a glorious day on the Saturday and an overnight camp, the team set about navigating their way on Sunday by map and compass in a blanket of mist. They made their way from Dinger Tor to Oakment Hill with unerring accuracy, arriving at the precise point to meet trainer Mike Fear.

Following a snack and a drink, the intrepid 6 moved off to their next target point, Wild Tor!... and the sun came out to see them through.

The next training weekend on Dartmoor in 3 weeks time is their final expedition before the big event on May 10th . We wish them all good luck!
