Charity Challenges trekking
Have you ever wanted to trek in Kilimanjaro’s shadow? Or maybe you fancy journeying across Romania’s Carpathian Mountains and spotting Dracula? Girlguiding UK has created two 2011 Charity Challenges which will allow you to take part in a life-changing challenge while raising money for our Centenary Fund. Introduction to Training
Girlguiding UK is running ‘Introduction to Training’ taster weekends to enable members to develop their training skills. The course is open to anyone who enjoys sharing their knowledge and guiding enthusiasm. It is especially suitable for those interested in training adults in guiding. The sessions will take place at Waddow from 12 to 14 November 2010 and at Foxlease from 15 to 17 April 2011. Places are available at the subsidised rate of £30 and are limited. Contact

New Queen's Guide resource
A new resource has been produced to outline the syllabus and benefits of the Queen’s Guide Award. It also provides answers to frequently asked questions and describes how you can get started on the Award. You can download the leaflet from the Senior Section website here.
