Residential Event Notification - Guidance for Leaders |

Following a review of GGUK policy and processes a new procedure for notification and approval of Residential Events has been put in place.
There have been changes to the form to use, and to who approves and signs off events. A one page guidance document explains how these changes apply to different types of event.
To access the list, log in, then in the menu click on Resources > Members' Downloads Area.

GGSN Approved Campsites and Holiday Homes 2011 |

A list of all the Somerset North approved camp sites and holiday houses is now available to download from the Members' Downloads area. It includes a list of all approved sites/houses, along with notes on the facilities available and booking contact details.

Welcome to another year with new adventures and challenges!
Now is the time that you may be planning to take your girls away out, so a reminder please, that if you are taking your Unit away from the usual meeting place,either for an evening activity, or a day hike, trip, visit to the Pantomime etc, do ensure that you notify your District Commissioner in writing ahead of the activity.
In addition, the GGUK One Day Activity form (G/o) (Downloadable from the GGUK website); should be issued, completed and returned by Parents/Guardians for each occasion,& that you take current information regarding relevant contact numbers, details of medication, etc with you.
