All Guiders need to be qualified in First Response (or an equivalent qualification) & need to requalify every three years. We now have two First Response trainers in Girlguiding Somerset North. We have split the County up between us both geographically & by the number of members. Training courses are approx 6 hours long & can be run in a variety of ways (ie as a day course or over two evenings). Trainings are usually arranged through District / Division Commissioners & any courses with spaces which can't be filled are advertised via P&TRic.
