Due to the success of our Olympic sailors and rowers there has never
been a better time to get involved with water sports. Initiatives by RYA
(Royal Yachting Association) and BCU (British Canoe Union) have
encouraged clubs that previously only opened for their members, to open
their doors to all.

In North Somerset there are now a variety of venues set up to offer
water based activities. These can take the form of evening activities on
the water close to guide units that are ideal for taster sessions, through to
centres further a field where girls can gain qualifications and expertise in
assisting and instructing the younger and less experienced.
All the centres are RYA or BCU recognised and are licensed by the
Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.

Overleaf are a just a small selection that are fully equipped, have trained
staff and are just waiting for your call. Give your girls the chance to
experience Sailing, Canoeing and Windsurfing for themselves.
The activities are surprisingly well priced.
