Hello from Karen and Sue and Happy New Year!

We hope that you have had a good Christmas and New Year and that all the food and drink have now been used up! So it’s all go until Easter, and no doubt you have plenty of challenges and activities planned for your Unit.

This year has lots of things going on in the County and South west Region,

So have a look at the new South Region Web Site –it has a very modern outlook and very easy to use. One of the forthcoming events are this years’ South West Region Road Shows. If you can get one of these, then we are sure that you will have a good time!

We are pleased that the Chocolate Mud Camp in February at Somermead is now full – so all that are going - we hope you have a great time. Don’t forget to send us some pictures of the event!

Our District and Division Commissioners will be having a training Day on 10th March and will cover a variety of topics and discussions.

The Rainbows are 25th this year so keep a look out on Patric for something happening just for them.

The Guides will be having an Outdoor Day in July 7th at Woodhouse Park more details on Patric to come out in March.

We have a new County Brownie Adviser – Mrs Judith Yeaman – who is a very experienced Brownie Guider, and is on hand for any advice needed – email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We hope that some of you applied to go to ‘All the world’s a Stage’ in February at Filton College; this is going to be a great day with lots of activities for the girls to do with the theatre.
